A Health Crisis

The American Diabetes Association puts the number of diabetics in America at 20.8 million; with another 54 million having pre-diabetes, which places them at high risk for developing Type 2 diabetes.

Worse, according to a new report from the National Institutes of Health, nearly half of American men today either have the disease, or are on the verge of developing it.

Since 1980, diabetic cases in the United States have sky-rocketed by an already alarming 47 percent, and this shocking trend is expected to go ballistic over the coming decade.

In fact, conventional medicine is describing diabetes as a pandemic that’s become out of control:

“Doctors fear a huge wave of new diabetes cases could overwhelm the public health system and engulf growing numbers — and swamp hospitals. Its awful toll quietly emerges as a crisis. It’s frightening.” – New York Times

“…An epidemic that keeps on raging… What alarms public health experts the most is the speed at which diabetes has spread…”
– TIME magazine

“73 million Americans have diabetes or are at risk… there’s a tremendous problem in this country with diabetes — it represents a genuine epidemic.”
– USA Today

And top medical researchers are sounding the alarm bells…

“We’ve got to stop this. There has been a tremendous concern, but probably not enough concern about the emerging epidemic of diabetes.” – Dr. Robert Rizzo, Professor
Mayo Clinic

“The number of people with diabetes will reach 300 million — a staggering 122% increase.” – Life Extension Foundation

“Diabetes causes 35 million heart attacks, 13 million strokes, 2 million amputations and 62 million deaths. That’s the expected toll from diabetes… unless major action is taken to curb and control it… This will cost the U.S. economy $6.6 trillion dollars.” – American Diabetes Association

“4 out of 5 people with diabetes die of heart disease.” – Canadian Diabetes Association

In fact, the situation is so serious, even some government officials are beginning to sit up and take notice…

“Diabetes has reached epidemic proportions and it’s still on the rise.” – Tommy G. Thompson
Health and Human Services Secretary
U.S. Federal Government

Yet despite the undeniable diabetes epidemic already being reported by major media…

And despite the fact that top health researchers are frantically sounding the alarm…

And despite even government officials admitting there’s a massive problem…

And despite all the wake-up calls such as this one…

“The diabetes epidemic will overwhelm health care resources everywhere if governments do not wake up and take action…” – New York Times

…are you prepared to take that risk… and WAIT for the government to get their act together, to actually DO something about this crisis situation?!

We all know how sluggishly government funding programs trudge along — it would take years, or even longer, if one waits for them.

And when it comes to your health, I’m sure you’re not willing to wait that long…

Especially when there are highly effective solutions available right NOW. Learn more about this breakthrough diabetes research here: Escaping The Diabetes Trap.

Why Doesn’t Your Doctor Know About This?

Most Health-Care Practitioners in this country have never heard about this breakthrough diabetes research, because…

  • much of this research and clinical testing is being conducted by non-English speaking physicians, and published in foreign medical journals;
  • when it comes to treating diseases in America, the prevailing focus is to “cover up” and “control” the symptoms of diseases, rather than identifying and solving the root cause of the underlying problem(s);
  • your doctor is probably simply too busy to stay up-to-date on the most current medical research and discoveries;
  • further, most doctor visits are shorter than 5 minutes — after you’ve sat who knows how long in their waiting room — yet it’s literally impossible to address the underlying causes of your symptoms in those few minutes… and much easier to just write out a prescription, and then tell you to come back for a different prescription if the first (or second, or third) one doesn’t “work”;
  • today’s medical-schools teach aspiring doctors how to treat this disease with prescription drugs and insulin… but discuss neither its root causes, nor how to cure it;
  • further, virtually all post-medical-school training for American doctors is provided by the pharmaceutical companies’ sales reps… who skillfully downplay the risks and side-effects of the medications they’re pushing;
  • since natural compounds are un-patentable, there’s little financial incentive for the giant pharma companies to investigate and sell them;
  • some people even make the compelling case that the powerful FDA (whose directors typically sit on the Boards of the major pharma companies) will routinely grant approval to insufficiently-tested drugs… yet they often ban far safer and more effective natural treatments.

Diabetes Research Blog

We’ve now re-formatted this site to a blog.

What that means is we’ve taken the existing content, and posted that content as individual blog posts.

It also means that because our team of top diabetes researchers can now make postings from anywhere in the world with Internet access — without the need for any specialized website software — thus, we’ll be able to add content FAR more regularly… hopefully, several times per week (or even daily).

In short, this new blog format will make it much easier to post… Which means you’ll get more of these diabetes breakthroughs, and MUCH more often!

You can be sure you don’t miss any of the updates to this website, by subscribing to the Diabetes Breakthroughs Notification List at the top right-hand section of this site.
